Our unexpected remodel has really cut into my crafting time the past couple months. This past weekend, I pulled out my trusty Silhouette Cameo and made a fun serving tray. I also teamed up with some fellow craft bloggers to bring you lots of fun projects; make sure to check out all their links below.
Upcycled Nautical Anchor Serving Tray
For this serving tray; I used one of the sink cut-out ovals that I had used for my Wooden World Map. I picked up some merlot colored gel-stain from the craft store, once I had sanded down the rough patches on the oval the gel went super smooth and easy.
The rope and anchor design was part of a design pack that I bought a while ago. I cut the shape to just under 12″ square and then applied it onto the stained oval.
I added a simple drawer pull (similar) to be the handles for the tray and it was complete!
I absolutely LOVE how this turned out! It will be so fun for summer BBQs with friends.
I hope you enjoyed this project, make sure to check out all the other fun projects below!
